Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
From the roar of Grade IV rapids to the quiet of a jungle camp — Akihi Tales crafts experiences that stay with you long after you've left the mountains.
Who We Are
Akihi Tales started with a single raft, a handful of fearless guides, and an obsession with showing people the Rishikesh we know — raw, wild, and endlessly beautiful.
Today we run the full spectrum: adrenaline-packed multi-day rafting expeditions, 83-metre bungee jumps, forest camps under starlit skies, and fully bespoke itineraries built around your pace and curiosity.
Safety First, Always
All guides are certified, gear is inspected daily, and every adventure follows strict safety protocols without dampening the thrill.
Small Groups, Big Moments
We keep groups intimate — you get personal attention, flexible pacing, and the feeling that the mountains are yours alone.
Local Guides, Genuine Experiences
Our team grew up on these rivers and trails. Their knowledge, warmth, and stories are what make Akihi Tales unforgettable.
River Rafting
Six routes on the Ganga — from a 35-minute splash to a 3-day Himalayan expedition.
Club House to Nim Beach. A quick, exciting intro to the Ganga rapids — great for first-timers and families.
Shivpuri to Nim Beach. The classic Rishikesh run — 8 rapids including the legendary Roller Coaster and Golf Course.
Marine Drive to Nim Beach. More water, more rapids — a longer stretch through some of the Ganga's most scenic corridors.
Kaudiyala to Nim Beach. 16 rapids including Grade IV+ monsters like Crossfire and Three Blind Mice. For the brave.
From the sacred confluence at Devprayag down to Nim Beach. A 2-day, 1-night river expedition through raw Himalayan wilderness.
The ultimate Ganga expedition — 3 days, 2 nights from Bhagwan to Nim Beach. For those who want to truly disappear into the river.
Bungee Jumping
From your first leap to India's highest bungee — pick your altitude.
The original jump — free-fall toward the Ganga and skim the water on the rebound. A classic for a reason.
Splash Adventures' flagship jump — 109 metres of pure free-fall from a fixed platform above the Ganga gorge.
Rishikesh's highest bungee — a breathtaking leap into the Himalayan valley with panoramic mountain views all around you.
The apex. India's highest bungee at 219 metres by Splash Adventures. An elite experience reserved for the absolutely fearless.
Thrill Factory
Flying foxes, giant swings, sky cycles and more — all from Tapovan.
Zip at high speed across a breathtaking gorge — mountains, the Ganga, and the valley all blur beneath you as you fly.
Launched 83 metres above the ground, you pendulum in a massive arc over the Ganga — half-bungee, half-flying, all terrifying.
Pedal a bicycle suspended on a cable high above the ground — the Ganga and hills stretching out below you in every direction.
Instead of falling down — you're shot up. 200 feet of screaming vertical launch before gravity yanks you back down. Buckle up.
Battle it out against friends in a Himalayan forest backdrop. Great for groups, corporate teams, and anyone who likes a fight.
Rope bridges, rappelling, rock climbing, river crossing — a full course testing balance, nerve, and every muscle you didn't know you had.
